Simple but effective? Sounds like music to my ears.
Our Cucumber Rose Water Eye Mask (courtesy of HelloGlow), used with our Quilted Cotton Rounds, is the perfect way to give your under-eye area the refresh it needs now that Daylight Savings Time has ended! So why these ingredients?
- Cucumber contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and caffeic acid, both of which help soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling–these acids prevent water retention, which may explain why cucumbers applied topically are often helpful for swollen eyes.
- Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis and eczema. It is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores.
- Placing brewed Green tea bags on the eyes for a short time period allows the tannins in the tea to reduce swelling and tighten the skin around the eyes, as well as to treat puffy eyes and dark circles.
The use of Intrinsics Quilted Cotton Rounds will ensure that this liquid mask stays on in all the right places. And since these rounds will be cut into crescent shapes, it allows for the perfect under-eye placement and a no slip grip; just a few of these Cotton Rounds will make multiple crescent shapes, so you'll have plenty for later use. The permeable cotton allows all of the enzymes to reach your skin without having to worry about drips or clean-up!
Now, how do I cut those Quilted Cotton Rounds?
Cutting our Quilted Cotton Round is easy as pie! These don't have to be perfect crescents, as long as they form the general shape, you're good to go! Even though the rounds are packed with 100% fluffy, Purified Cotton, they cut crisply with absolutely no mess! After soaking them in the cucumber-rose water mixture, place them below your lash line and prepare for some major relaxation!
